Just In: Frank Lampard confirms N’Golo Kante is ready to face Ajax Tomorrow

Chelsea Boss Frank Lampard has confirm that N’Golo Kante is back from injury and available for Tuesday night’s Champions League encounter against Ajax.

The France midfielder has been hampered with numerous injuries this season and last played for Chelsea in their 4-1 win over Southampton on October 6.

Since that fixture, Chelsea have won four of their last five matches, the most recent being a 2-1 win at Watford on Saturday.

However, Frank Lampard will be delighted to have his midfield to e solid back and available.

“He is in the squad and available” Lampard confirmed at his press-conference ahead of the Group H clash today.

“It looks like the injuries are clearing up

“I’m quite big that the players come back into training at the level that they left so they’re then ready to play games, because they can’t just walk straight back in after injuries. There has to be some progression.”

And Lampard is relishing having the Frenchman back alongside Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho.

“With the freedom, it is how I want us to play. There is an element that we have to break teams down.

“The three players at Watford can do all roles. I want them to be positive, go by people if that is the attribute, like Mateo (Kovacic) has.

“N’Golo is huge for us, one of the best in the world. I am going to need all of them.”

Chelsea have also been boosted by the new that Ross Barkley and Andreas Christensen took part in a training session at Cobham, with the only absentees being Antonio Rudiger and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
