Just in: Insider reveals Chelsea board decision on Frank Lampard’s sack date

According to reports, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is under pressure to lose his job as a Chelsea boss and a replacement is already looking for.

However, Chelsea board has given Frank Lampard some chance to prove himself once more by winning at least a game to secure his job at Chelsea.

Chelsea play Morecambe in the FA Cup next and that should be an easy win for the Blues that ultimately means nothing.

According to Chelsea insider, The Fulham game it’s a must win for Frank Lampard or he will be sacked if he fails to win the game.

However, after only 1 win in 6 games, it’s the league games that matter most for Frank Lampard and here are some others 3 games that will likely decide his future.

Leicester (Jan 19): Chelsea play Leicester City in 15 days and that will be an incredible test for Lampard. Leicester have been in good shape themselves, currently sitting in 3rd with some impressive wins this season.

Lampard will need to figure out how to handle Jamie Vardy while also ensuring his attack is clicking against a really good Leicester defence. A win will go a long way in getting the sacking calls to quiet down.

Wolves (Jan 27): A loss to Wolverhampton has been a part of Chelsea’s dismal recent run of results. Though Wolves are a good side, they can drop points on occasion themselves.

A revenge victory against a decent Wolves side will be massive and coupled with a good result against Leicester, might shut down the narrative around Chelsea being unable to beat good teams.

Tottenham (Feb 3): This is a long shot and it’s hard to say whether Lampard will make it till this game. If he does, it can only mean that Chelsea have managed a few wins through January.

Should that be the case, then a win against Mourinho’s title-chasing Spurs side might end all the talk of sacking for a good long time. If he can get it, this will be the win that helps Lampard prove the recent doubters wrong.

Frank Lampard’s days at Chelsea are limited as Chelsea board are keen to sack him if he fails to win the FULHAM game.
