Just in: Lukaku finally reveals why he wants to join Chelsea as deal set to be finalized

The Blues boss Thomas Tuchel wants a new world class striker ahead of new season and Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku is a top target for the Blues.

Since the Belgian arrived at the San Siro for £73m in 2019, he has scored an incredible 64 goals in 95 appearances across all competitions.

Chelsea have submitted two bids for Lukaku including a bid of £85m that included Marcos Alonso but Inter Milan have rejected both bids.

According to Daily Mail, Lukaku is keen to return to Chelsea as he believes he has unfinished business at Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku first joined Chelsea in August 2011 from Anderlecht in a deal worth £18million but struggled to make his mark at the club before he was eventually sold to Everton in 2014 for £28m.

He made just ten appearances for Chelsea during his three years at Chelsea, starting just one game.

Lukaku is interested in returning to West London as he is eager to prove his worth to the Chelsea fans.
