Just in: Lukaku sends ‘massive message’ to new teammates following 3-0 win over Crystal Palace

Chelsea have started the 2021-22 campaign on a high, as the Blues beat Crystal Palace 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Goals from Marcos Alonso, Christian Pulisic and Trevoh Chalobah gave Chelsea a massive win, and indeed the title race has begun as Manchester United and Liverpool also got big wins.

New Chelsea signing Romelu Lukaku was pleased with the performance of his team and took to Twitter to congratulate his new teammates on getting a win.

“Well done boys! Good start!” he tweeted, adding a blue heart emoji.

While addressing the media ahead of the game against Crystal Palace, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel revealed that the new striker will make his debut in our second league game of the season, away at Arsenal.

“Romelu is still in quarantine and following the protocols,” Tuchel told reporters. “He will be out on Monday doing the whole training with us next week and will play for us against Arsenal. This is the plan.”
