Juventus will reportedly make a bid of around £25m for defender Emerson, who has fallen out-of-favour with Chelsea during the backend of the season.

The Italian impressed for Frank Lampard’s side in the first half of the campaign but his gametime was restricted due to a couple of untimely injuries.

He has, however, not been able to replicate the same level of performances since the turn of the year and of late, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso have been preferred ahead of him for the left-back spot.

According to The Express, the west London giants are planning to land a new left-sided defender in the summer and Emerson is likely to head through the exit door.

The Bianconeri have held a long-term interest in signing the former Roma man and reports claim that they could land his signature for a fee of around £25m this summer.

Emerson has not featured in the Premier League since January 17. He has failed to make the matchday squad for the Blues in four of the previous five matches.
