Kai Havertz reveals his best position to Lampard after difficult Chelsea start
Chelsea new star Kai Havertz has only been able to show glimpses of his quality since his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen during the summer.
Havertz has told Chelsea boss Frank Lampard his best position but insists he is happy to play anywhere as he aims to kickstart his career at Stamford Bridge.
“Of course I like to play offensively but in Leverkusen I think I played in every offensive position, so for me it doesn’t matter what position it is,” Havertz told the Chelsea website.
“I am very happy to play and at the moment it doesn’t matter which position.
“We have a lot of good players, you see that on the pitch and I am just happy to play.
“I am feeling better. It is not easy when you are out for two or three weeks not doing anything, you lose your whole fitness level.
