Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has returned to group training, giving a boost to Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, who feared being without the France international for much of the season end due to his concerns over coronavirus.
Kante previously trained alone after expressing his fears about contracting Covid-19.
Despite being a key player for the Blues since joining from Leicester City, The Sun claims his future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain owing to Lampard’s interest in Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.
The report claims due to Chelsea’s one-in-one-out policy, Kante might be sold this summer if the Blues complete the transfer of Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Blues are reportedly ready to go head-to-head with Manchester United for the 20-year-old Bundesliga sensation and Chelsea believe the midfielder can be signed for £70 million.
