‘Keep them! Tuchel tells incoming new Chelsea owners to keep these two important people
The Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has been very successful in his one year plus stay in charge of the club.
However, The German man has delivered the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup in just over a year, and has been a massive success in the Roman Abramovich era.
With Abramovich sanctioned by the UK government and getting set to lose his club to a new ownership, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to have directors Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech remain at the club, regardless of the new ownership.
Asked if he wants Granovskaia and Cech to stay at Chelsea, Tuchel said earlier in the week: “This will not be my choice.
“I can only tell you that until now it has been an excellent relationship and has worked so, so well for me and hopefully for them as well.
“To take these decisions and to have updates in a small circle of communication and responsibility has worked well.
“Hopefully it will stay like this but I have no influence on this and no information on whether it will or not.”
