Frank Lampard has confirmed Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante could miss Chelsea’s clash with Crystal Palace on Tuesday after picking up hamstring injury during the 3-0 victory over Watford on Saturday.
Kante was forced to come off during the second half of Saturday’s game against Watford, with Billy Gilmour replacing the Frenchman.
“N’Golo Kante he has a small hamstring injury, we hope it is small, that’s what I’ve been told so far,” said Lampard.
“But I’m guessing it will be a problem for Palace on Tuesday.”
Olivier Giroud, Willian and Ross Barkley all found the net as the Blues beat Watford 3-0 on Saturday at Stamford Bridge to jump back into the league’s top four and shake off Wednesday’s frustrating 3-2 loss at West Ham.
