Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has missed the Blues last four games due to injury.
Kante picked up a hamstring injury in the 3-0 win against Watford and hasn’t featured since then.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has revealed that Kante will miss the Premier League game against Liverpool on Wednesday night.
“N’Golo is not fit,” revealed the Blues boss. “He’s not ready for this game.”
Lampard also revealed in his press conference today that Chelsea will give Liverpool a guard of honour at Anfield Stadium on Wednesday.
He said: “I’m very happy to give a guard of honour for a team that deserve it, having won the league in such style as well. We go there with huge respect.
“We’re competitive here but you have to understand when a team has won the league well and we’ll handle that in the right way but focus on the game.”
