According to reports, Chelsea are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who looks set to leave the Italian giants in the summer.
Chelsea have been in the transfer headlines for weeks now as they are seemingly linked with every player that is in Europe and not happy at their respective club, and it seems that they are at it again.
They have been linked with a move for Philippe Coutinho in recent weeks, with all indications suggesting that he is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge, but over the past few days there has been talk that the Blues may switch their attentions once the transfer window opens up, with Rabiot now on the list.
Rabiot, 25, joined Juventus on a free transfer after allowing his Paris Saint-Germain contract to expire in June 2019, but his move has not really worked out and the six-capped France international has completed just eight 90-minute Serie A fixtures this season.
And according to reports on Italian publication Calciomercato, Juve are open to selling the France international if they receive a suitable offer, and Rabiot is thought to favour a move to the Premier League.
It is a massive shock to see that Rabiot has failed to make the type of impact on the side that many had hoped, especially after becoming one of the best midfielders in Europe while at PSG.
For the right money, he could be a decent buy if Chelsea are interested, but they need to make sure that he is good enough to come in and really make an impact on this Blues side.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out as he could be another top-class addition to a Chelsea side that is getting many people excited ahead of the start of next season.
