Chelsea beat Wolves at Stamford Bridge 2-0 to clinch their place for UEFA Champions league spot for next season.
Despite finishing fourth on the table Chelsea Boss Frank Lampard is not happy.
When asked after the game today about taking a weakened Chelsea team to the top 4 he called it a “small achievement,” admitting that he took some pride in it but insisting he wasn’t going to go too mad because “it’s Chelsea” – i.e., we expect more.
This summer will be brief but two huge signing have already been secured and there’s room for more.
The club have to get the right defender and goalkeeper in, and from there the sky is the limit.
🗣 "We had players playing in the Championship last year, I won't shout from the rooftops because it's top 4 and we're #Chelsea.”
Elite mentality.👏
