Chelsea Team News: Kai Havertz will not be available after testing positive for Covid19. He will only return after the international break. Christian Pulisic has returned ahead of schedule from his hamstring injury, but it is unlikely he will be risked right before the international break.

Kepa is in line to return to the bench, after nearly recovering from his shoulder injury.

Predicted Chelsea Lineup vs Sheffield United
Goalkeeper: Edouard Mendy has kept an incredible six clean-sheets in his last six games, and the Chelsea fans will hope that run goes on. He should keep his place in the Chelsea lineup.

Defence: After a shaky start, Thiago Silva has formed a good partnership with Kurt Zouma at the heart of the Chelsea defence, and the two should start against Sheffield United.

Reece James and Ben Chilwell should start as the two full-backs. The two are fast becoming one of the best full-back pairings in the league with their buccaneering attacking runs and level-headed defending. Such good has been James’ form that he is keeping the experienced Cesar Azpilicueta out of the side.

Midfield: N’Golo Kante’s importance to this team cannot be stated enough, and he should keep his place in the Chelsea lineup. Against Sheffield United, Chelsea will need players who can control the tempo and pick a pass, so Jorginho could start once again.

Mason Mount is expected to complete the three-man midfield. The 21-year old has scored just once this season, and will look to add more goals to his game.

Attack: Tammy Abraham, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech should form the Chelsea attack. Ziyech has started well in the league, and is already looking like a bargain buy for the fee Chelsea forked out for him.
