Latest update on Tammy Abraham’s injury: ‘Not looking good for Tammy’

Chelsea’s best striker Tammy Abraham has been great so far this season with 15 goals in all competitions to his credit. But even the 22-year-old striker has at times needed help this season.

However, The likes of Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud have struggled to impress under Frank Lampard in the few chances they have gotten this term.

It didn’t look good for Tammy Abraham after the striker got injured late in the game against Arsenal and needed help in leaving the pitch at the end of the game.

Speaking on Tammy Abraham after the game, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard hoped his main striker won’t be out for so long.

The Chelsea boss said: “I hope he’s not (out for several weeks), but then if he is then yes, we do have the players to cope. But we can’t finish.”

Chelsea have scored 41 league goals this season and Abraham has contributed a lion share of the goals, and the Blues must desperately sign a new striker now that the 22-year-old is out with many tough games to play in the Premier League and Champions League to come.

Chelsea have been linked with PSG star Edinson Cavani, who has been one of the top strikers in Europe over the past decade. In short, only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have scored more goals than Cavani since March 2007. signing Cavani might be a difficult one for the club, as PSG decline Chelsea’s loan bid as they want a permanent move for the Uruguayan striker.
