Let me join Chelsea – Player gets angry with club for delaying his move to Stamford bridge
According to reports, Wesley Fofana is a defender for Leicester City, and Chelsea has had two offers for him rejected.
However, The second bid was reportedly closer to £70 million than the first, which was supposed to be for £60 million.
The 21-year-old defender is not something Leicester City wants to part with, and even if they did, they would demand more than the £80 million they got for Harry Maguire.
Wesley Fofana is eager to join Chelsea but believes he is being priced out of the club.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports reports that the French defender is becoming increasingly unsettled at Leicester due to the situation.
Fofana is keen on moving to the next level, and he believes playing in the Champions League would increase his chances of making the France squad for the World Cup later this year.
Fofana is very pissed at Leicester City, and doesn’t want his club to frustrate the deal.
Leicester City legend Gary Lineker has now urged Fofana to stick with the club for at least one more year, after signing a new long-term contract, and also reminded the young defender of how the club stood by him when he was injured.
“Fear the worst but hope he finds it within himself to give Leicester City one more season,” wrote Lineker on Twitter as he reacted to the rumours of Fofana’s growing unrest.
“Signed a new long contract when badly injured. Another year and all the monster clubs will want you, Wesley.”
