Liverpool are reportedly planning to make an offer for Chelsea forward Willian and hand him a lucrative contract to make the move to Anfield for free ahead of 2020-21 season.

The Brazil international’s winger’s current deal at Stamford Bridge will end in June, and it is believed that the West London club are not prepared to meet his wish for a three-year contract extension.

A number of teams, including Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, have been credited with a strong interest in the experienced forward, who has been in the English top-tier since August 2013.

However, according to Sport, the Brazilian forward is currently in talks with the Merseyside Reds, who are prepared to offer the 31-year-old ‘favourable conditions’ to finalise switch to Anfield.

Willian has again been a key player for the Blues this campaign, founding back of the net seven times and provide six assists in 37 games in all competitions, including five goals and five assists in the English top-tier.

Willian could be considered as a replacement for Xherdan Shaqiri who is likely to depart from Anfield this summer.
