Lukaku admits Chelsea transfer target ‘is a beast’ as he encourages the Blues to sign him

Chelsea have been linked with Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, and former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has admitted that he loves playing with the Argentine, and called the 22-year-old ‘a beast’.

“Amazing, the guy is really a beast,” Lukaku said of Lautaro when asked about him during an Instagram Live. “He is doing so well, he keeps improving, I love him”.

The pair have struck up one of the most potent strike partnerships in Europe this season, with 39 goals between them in all competitions, and Lautaro Martinez is also attracting massive interest from Barcelona, who see him as a replacement for Luis Suarez.

Lautaro Martinez’s agent Beto Yaque has confirmed Chelsea have contacted him over the transfer of the Inter Milan striker ahead of the summer transfer window.

“We don’t know what will happen, we pay attention to what the media say about it. It’s true that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and City called me, but we don’t know if they have any kind of agreement with Inter,” Yaque told Spanish news outlet Clarin.
