Lukaku sends massive message to Tuchel ahead of Carabao final against Liverpool
Following Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday night, Romelu Lukaku was dropped out of the starting XI.
However, The Belgian striker was dropped out of the starting XI for the game against Lille after having just seven touches in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace last weekend.
Now, according to The Guardian, Lukaku wants his place in the starting XI for the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool on Sunday.
The Belgium international is reportedly focused on winning his place in the starting XI and has no immediate plans to leave Stamford Bridge despite his struggles at the club.
Kai Havertz started ahead of Lukaku in Tuesday’s game against Lille and the German international is expected to keep his place in the team for Sunday’s game against Liverpool.
