Madrid will allow star to join Chelsea for £42.5 million – as midfielder sends Todd Boehly £83m transfer message
Real Madrid will allow Casemiro to leave in Chelsea news of the day…
According to reports in the media, Real Madrid will allow midfielder Casemiro to go in the summer for £42.5 million to join Chelsea.
With Chelsea’s season nearly done, Thomas Tuchel will be putting together a list of potential acquisitions to assist him close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool for next season.
However, there has been a lot of conjecture in the media that Ngolo Kante is open to the thought of leaving the club for a new challenge, with PSG being his most likely destination if he decides to leave.
That means Chelsea will have to dip into their transfer fund and sign a replacement for N’Golo Kante as soon as possible, prompting several media rumours linking the Blues with a deal for Real Madrid star Casemiro.
In the transfer window, the Brazilian has been a key member of that Madrid team, but he is apparently asking for the kind of deal that his performances this season merit.
As a result, it’s expected that Real Madrid will be unable to offer him such a contract and will instead accept offers for the Brazil international this summer, with the club willing to sell Casemiro for roughly £42.5 million.
The La Liga winners, though, will ‘gladly’ keep the defensive midfielder provided he abandons his quest for a raise, according to reports.
Chelsea transfer target Aurelien Tchouameni sends transfer message to Chelsea
Aurelien Tchouameni, a Chelsea transfer target, has updated Todd Boehly on his future plans ahead of the summer transfer window.
Tchouameni started his career at Bordeaux, where he made 37 appearances after making his debut in a Europa League qualification at the age of 18 in July 2018.
He signed a four-year contract with Monaco in January 2020 and has been in sensational form ever since. This season, he has made 33 appearances in the League for the club, scoring four times.
With so much interest, it’s possible that Monaco would sell to the highest bidder – especially given indications that Thomas Tuchel is eager to bolster his team in the coming days.
There has also been a lot of conjecture in the media that Ngolo Kante is open to the notion of leaving the club for a new challenge, with PSG being the most likely destination if he decides to leave.
That means Tuchel will require finances from new owner Ted Boehly in order to buy players who will bring value to the team while also replacing those who are departing or may leave.
Even though it appears that the Monaco star will leave this summer, he spoke about his possible departure and cast doubt on whether a transfer is on the cards.
“I am contracted here until 2024 with the option until 2025. We’ll see what the future has in store for me. The transfer window is always a period where lots of things can happen,” said Tchouameni recently told the Daily Mirror.
“Playing Champions League football with Monaco isn’t something that would displease me.”
Tchouameni is a special talent that has a very bright future in the game, so if Chelsea do manage to wrap up a transfer deal for the man, he would be a great investment for the club
Chelsea will surely sign him if they mean business.
