Following Chelsea latest signings Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, Manchester city star Gundogan has revealed why his teammates should be more careful of the duo including incoming Kai Havertz.
Gundogan told SportBild when asked to discuss his Germany national team teammate.
“Believe me: Everyone at City knows about Timo Werner. Many of my team-mates asked what kind of guy he is. He deserves respect.”
Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech – who are already building up their form at Cobham for the next season – can possibly be joined by another brilliant attacker.
The negotiations on Kai Havertz’s transfer continue and Gundogan is not shy to share his admiration for Chelsea’s target.
“In my opinion, Havertz is even better than Ballack in terms of his playing ability,” he said. “I expect great things from him. Kai’s potential is unlimited.
“He brings a lot with him, and now it’s up to him to show off this enormous talent. He has this calm and serenity on the ball, and is a prudent type on the other side.”
Werner, Ziyech, Pulisic, Havertz – looks like the deadliest attack in Europe indeed and surely Chelsea will definitely be one of the scaring team next season.
