Mauricio Pochettino finally confirms Chelsea goalkeeper for next season 

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has gotten his Chelsea goalkeeper for next season.

Pochettino has opted to make Kepa Arrizabalaga his no.1 goalkeeper for next season which will now free up funds to strengthen other areas in the squad.

Pochettino believes that, along with goalkeeping coach Toni Jimenez, he can take Kepa to the next level.

Chelsea were initially keen on signing Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer but walked away from talks due to Inter Milan’s demands.

With Pochettino now deciding to make Kepa his no.1 goalkeeper for next season, the Blues will now seek to sign a capable no.2 that can push Kepa, with Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili among the options next on the shortlist.

Edouard Mendy will leave to create space for a new addition and is in talks with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli over a three-year deal.
