No more new contract, Just let me go – Chelsea big money signing tells Todd Bohely

Chelsea are now under pressure to drop the asking price for Kai Havertz after being informed the German international has no intention of signing a new Chelsea contract.

This is According to ESPN.

However, Premier League rivals Arsenal are interested in signing Havertz this summer and the forward is keen on joining the Gunners after three years at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal are reluctant to pay the £70million that Chelsea are demanding for the transfer of Havertz. Arsenal have had one offer for Havertz rejected by Chelsea but are expected to return with an improved bid.

The report also adds that Havertz earns around £220,000 per week at Chelsea and Arsenal would have no issues agreeing personal terms with the German.

Havertz’s versatility is a big attraction for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta. The Arsenal boss sees Havertz playing as a no.10, no.8 and in any of attacking positions in a front three.

Bayern Munich are also interested in signing Havertz.
