There will certainly be changes to the Chelsea side this weekend when they return to Premier League action with a trip to Everton.

The Blues disappointed in their fixture at Old Trafford in midweek, and will certainly need to respond at the weekend.

They will be taking on a hungry Everton side, who ran rampant against Newcastle last night at Goodison Park.

Here’s The Chelsea Chronicle’s predicted XI to face the Toffees on Sunday.

GK and Defence

Despite saving a penalty, Robert Sanchez’s poor passing display will be punished, giving Djordje Petrovic his first start.

Reece James will return to the starting side after only making the bench against Manchester United.

Levi Colwill will make the switch from left-back to his more favoured central defensive role.

He will be partnered by Benoit Badiashile, meaning it will be the first Premier League game this season without Thiago Silva.

The left-back role will be occupied by Marc Cucurella, on the opposite side to where he played on Wednesday.

Enzo Fernandez had a rough outing at Old Trafford, however he will be back amongst things again on Sunday.

He will again be partnered by Moises Caicedo, who many are still waiting to see the best of at Stamford Bridge.

Ahead of them will be the returning Conor Gallagher, whose presence was sorely missed on Wednesday.

Attack

Cole Palmer provided a moment of brilliance in the first half on Wednesday, and he will be back in action again at the weekend.

The opposite wing will see Raheem Sterling, however it will be a new striker who he is looking to form a partnership with.

That would be Armando Broja, who looks set to be handed a start soon after recovering from an injury setback and featuring from the bench.
