Midfielder admits he wants Chelsea to enjoy Poch project – report

Maduake makes Chelsea decision

Noni Madueke has been speaking about why he decided to join CHELSEA in January this year.

The Englishman swapped PSV for west London but struggled for game time until the last couple of matches of the season – where he impressed despite the many poor performances on the pitch.

But despite his early struggles – Maduake has admitted that he is convinced he has made the right decision.

Speaking about the move, he said: “The project here was something I was very aware of and was something I thought was good.

“Chelsea has never really been a project club, just a winning club, but nowadays, you can’t just win without a plan.

“Gone are the days when the big clubs just used to dominate all the time.

“It’s different, you need to strategise, and I feel like that’s what the owners and the staff and the technical staff are doing.”

And Maduake – who worked under Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham – recently revealed that he is looking forward to working under the Argentine boss – Madueke: ‘I think he is a good manager.

‘He has been in big places around the world and he was a great success in the Premier League. I am looking forward to working with and learning from him.’
