Moussa Dembele targets PL switch as Chelsea learn price tag

Moussa Dembele is reportedly desperate to make his return to the PL this summer but any potential suitors will have to fork out £83 million to sign him.

Manchester United appears to be the French star’s dream destination and a move will be on the cards if the club believe the Lyon man is worth it.

According to Sky Sports, Lyon owner Jean-Michel Aulas will let Dembele leave this summer but will want big money for the former Fulham and Celtic striker.

Aulas said the previous week: ‘We already have a certain number of offers for our players for summer. We sell the players who want to leave to where they want to go.’

The west London heavyweights attempted signing the 23-year-old in the January transfer market but were blocked from completing a move because of Lyon’s on-going injury crisis.

Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Manchester City and West Ham United have all shown interest in Dembele previously. Moussa has 19 goals in 37 appearances for the French outfit this season.

In other news, Lyon star Moussa Dembele is reportedly keen to secure a return to the PL during the summer transfer window.

Since moving to Lyon two years ago, Dembele has scored 40 goals from 76 games in all competitions, establishing himself as an important man at the French outfit.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the 23-year-old Chelsea target has indicated that he is keen to spend another period in English football after beginning his career at the London outfit, Fulham.
