“Never take him for granted or you lose him” – Tuchel warned Chelsea player could push for exit if he doesn’t start games
New Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been warned by a Chelsea fan that Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante could push for an exit if he continues to bench the France international.
Kante is yet to start a Premier League game under Tuchel, with the German tactician preferring the midfield combination of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.
The Chelsea fan sent the warning to Tuchel after Kante showed little enthusiasm after the 2-0 victory over Newcastle United when Tuchel went to congratulate him.
The German manager was seen tapping Kante on the chest and cupping his face to suggest he had played well, but the midfielder simply smiled and looked away.
The Chelsea fan warned: “Kante is quiet but don’t take him for granted, benched him and he would push for the exit door from Chelsea.
“He knows how to exit, he did it easily at Leicester. So I advice Tuchel to start using him we lose him.”
