Chelsea have already been linked with the Bayer star, but should they make it an official approach? Below are the reactions from the Chelsea fans.
Seamus Geehan: “They are saying he is the new Hazard at 20 years of age. He must be a good player so if Frank wants him then yes, sign him up!”
Itefue Ese: “We have got Ziyech already, we don’t need Havertz. He looks like a luxury player to me. He thrives when he is given space. And we know the EPL won’t give you that.”
Pascal Chineanya: “For me, Havertz is a complete midfielder despite his age. I think it’s better to pay €80m for him because he can only get better.”
Adeolu Adesiyakan: “Poaching this chap would be tough for Chelsea in my opinion, unless for some reason other top clubs aren’t interested. Secondly, the price tag, I don’t see Chelsea spending overboard for any player, I’m assuming he will cost over €100m.”
Andrea Dactan: “We have Mount and will soon get Hakim Ziyech. I see no reason to overcrowd the midfield at the moment, coupled with a financial crisis that may arise as a result of the COVID-19 impact.”
Lewis Dicks: “He is a player which I think we need. He ticks all the boxes in more ways than one. Crack on, Frank, he is a great investment.”
Zambian man: “We need to act fast before Bayern recruit him. We must make sure that Harvetz is on the Chelsea books. Lampard should talk to him face to face. Let him present the Chelsea project until Havertz’s convinced. He is needed urgently.”
