Not a good one! as Bayern Munich boss reveals massive plans for Rudiger after defender latest Chelsea decision

Bayern Munich are among the clubs to have registered an interest in Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

According to reports, Bayern Munich have been in touch with Rudiger’s agent and brother, Sahr Senesie, but the talks are purely preliminary at this stage.

Rudiger, 28, has less than a year left on his Chelsea contract and has been attracting interest from clubs like Bayern, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid as he can be signed for free if he doesn’t extend his Chelsea contract.

Meanwhile, Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann has now heightened fears about Rudiger’s future as he refused to rule out a move for the German international, rather he praised the form of the German centre-back.

“I’m not a fan of talking about players under contract at other clubs, and we’re outside the transfer period,” he told a press conference ahead of Bayern’s Bundesliga clash with Greuther Furth.

“He’s a German international, and is performing very well. Thomas [Tuchel] helped him reach his best level.”

According to reports, Rudiger is happy to stay at Chelsea but the German international wants a contract in excess of £200,000 a week to extend his Chelsea contract.

Rudiger is aware that, given his age, his next contract may well be his final big-money deal. Interest from top club’s in Europe and his key position in Thomas Tuchel’s squad has put in a strong negotiating position with Chelsea.

Rudiger has proven to be our most important defender at the moment, as he is the only option in the left side of the defence.

Hopefully, the club and player can have this deal sorted out as soon as possible.
