‘Not one second! Tuchel finally vows to stop what happen under Lampard at Chelsea
The December-January period is the most hectic in the Premier League, and it was around this period that led to Chelsea’s slump and consequently the dismissal of club legend Frank Lampard.
However, The Blues recent form in the Premier League have been called into question after a 1-1 draw with Burnley, and then a hard fought 2-1 win over Watford, with a draw to Manchester United and a defeat to Leicester City.
These results have seen Chelsea drop to third in the league, and it has dropped the team’s momentum enroute to winning the league.
However, The Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed that Chelsea’s slump last season won’t happen under his watch.
“Not one second,” the boss said on BT Sport when asked if he’s worried about the team heading towards their customary December slump.
“Every loss is a bump in the road, that will not hold us back from what we demand from us but we need to play more accurate, more stable and reduce big mistakes.”
