Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has pretty much put to bed any speculation that one of his first team players will be leaving the club anytime soon.
There were some rumours recently claiming that Chelsea could look to sell midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer with growing interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
However, Frank Lampard has been publicly stating the importance of a player whom of which he describes as ‘one of the best players in the world’, suggesting that there is absolutely no chance that he will be looking to sell the World Cup winner anytime soon.
The 29-year old has struggled with injuries over the last couple of seasons which has often sparked debates amongst Chelsea fans over whether now might be a good time to cash in on the midfield workhorse.
But Lampard has seemingly no intentions of cashing in, and as reported by Goal, has nothing but praise for Kante.“I haven’t been able to have him much this year and going forward we, of course, want him fit and raring to go.”
