“Perfect Lampard replacement”- LOTS of Blues fans react as Chelsea loanee guides PL strugglers to key win
Lots of Chelsea fans reacts as Conor Gallagher gets West Bromwich Albion off the mark in the Premier League
Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher was the man of the hour as he led West Bromwich Albion to their first Premier League win of the season.
The Baggies were winless in their first nine games of the season going into the clash against bottom-placed Sheffield United on Saturday. A first-half striker by Gallagher was enough for them to get their first win and move five points clear off the bottom.
However, unlike Chris Wilder’s side, Gallagher was clinical and ensured it was West Brom who came away with all three points.
Gallagher has played seven times this season for the Baggies this season. His impressive performances have seen the likes of Leeds United, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United take an interest.
If he continues to impress and improve, there is no reason why there won’t be a future for him at Chelsea.
Fans were suitably impressed with the young midfielder’s performance. We take a look at how they reacted on Twitter.

Conor Gallagher, a chelsea loanee is the heart beat of West Brom team currently and if he performs like this consistently throughout the season, He should get to chelsea team playing with 2 attacking 8s (not as a starter but having 3 players for 2 posn with havertz n mount) #CFC

Missed watching his game for the first time this season, but absolutely buzzing for Conor Gallagher. First goal in the Prem, and first win for WestBrom.
Should be looked at next year if Lamps plans on continuing with 2 number 8s. Brilliant workrate and an eye for goal.#WBASHU
