Phil Foden reveals Chelsea player as his toughest opponent, as Club signs Chelsea player permanently ahead of summer transfer

Phil Foden is the biggest rising star in English football right now, and he has just lifted his first Premier League title with Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola has been nurturing the youngster over recent years, and this season he has really come into his own and nailed down regular spots for his club and country.

He is now getting ready to play in his first Champions League final at 20-years of age, and he will be facing Chelsea once again, the team they have lost twice to in the last two matches.

And Foden will have to face a player he names as his toughest ever opponent [via Sky Sports] again, in the shape of Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.

Foden said: “He’s probably the most obvious one, but it’s Kante.

“He’s just everywhere. You think you’ve got away from him but he’s always just by your side.

“He does everything. He runs everywhere. He’s such a great player. I’d probably say he’s my toughest opponent I’ve played against.”

I’m pretty sure that Foden will be in mass company with holding that opinion, after all, Kante is an absolute beast and plays as if he is two players on the pitch, so it is no surprise to see him name the French World Cup winner.

Russian club Spartak Moscow have announced Victor Moses will be joining the club on a permanent deal from Chelsea this summer.

Club signs Chelsea player after scoring 4 goals

Moses joined Spartak Moscow on loan last summer after failing to win over former Blues boss Frank Lampard, with the deal turning permanent if Spartak finished in the top three of the Russian Premier League.

Spartak finished runners-up to champions Zenit St Petersburg following the final round of games at the weekend and the Russian club have now confirmed Moses will be signed permanently this summer.

“His contract would be automatically redeemed if the team finished in the top three, and we finished second,” Spartak’s PR director Anton Fetisov told RIA Novosti.

According to Goal, the Blues will receive €4.5million (£3.9m) fee in three instalments for the transfer of Moses.

Moses scored four goals and laid on as many assists in 19 appearances for Spartak Moscow.
