According to several reports, Chelsea winger Willian is close to joining Arsenal on a free transfer after the Gunners meet his demand contract and will be giving a 3 year deal plus another year if he will like to continue.
However, In all the unique ways that we have seen football transfers ‘confirmed’ in the past, this one is up there with the best!
Computer game Pro Evolution Soccer have reportedly ‘confirmed’ Arsenal’s signing of Chelsea winger Willian in a ‘leaked clip’ of the Brazilian sporting an Arsenal shirt in a release video of the game update, as reported by The Sun.
There was a chance that Willian could stay at Chelsea, and of course this could still happen until official confirmation arrives from either club.
But it looks likely now that Willian will be switching from London blue to London red.
Arsenal have partnered with video game series Pro Evo – whose game rivals Fifa as the biggest on PS4 and Xbox. The clip says "new signing" at the beginning and appears to show the 31-year-old Brazilian in Arsenal colours. https://t.co/aowHYxUytU pic.twitter.com/Got3bNqLNl
