Player demands £200k a-week to make Chelsea move, Blues told to pay £38m to land Centre-back, as Tuchel to allow two big-players to leave club

Chelsea target Sergio Aguero is demanding £200,000-a-week wages from his next club, according to reports.

However, the Manchester City legend is leaving the Etihad at the end of the season when his contract expires and there are four clubs looking to land the 32-year-old.

Meanwhile, according to AS, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are the three teams battling Chelsea for Aguero’s signature.

And the striker’s agent told Italian giants Juve they would have to cough up £200k-a-week in order to sign him, This is according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Aguero – who currently earns between £230k and £260k-a-week – is trying to capitalise on his free agent status with any club not required to pay a transfer fee for such a talented player.

Barca are unlikely to be able to cough up the big dough with their finances crippled by Covid-19. But the chance to play with his friend Lionel Messi – if he stays in Catalonia – could tempt Aguero to the Nou Camp.

Juve are also facing financial difficulties with the Old Lady ‘considering selling Cristiano Ronaldo’.

As a result it is only PSG or Chelsea who could likely afford Aguero’s demands.

But Chelsea are reportedly in the running to make a bid at the end of the season, something the player is said to be aware of.

Chelsea have reportedly been slapped with a £38 million price tag for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

According to The Sun, Nikola Milenkovic is on the verge of leaving Fiorentina this summer. The player’s current contract expires in 2022 and there has been no indication of the deal being extended further. It has put Manchester United and Chelsea on red alert while AC Milan are tracking the situation as well.

Manchester United, in particular, have stepped up their pursuit of Milenkovic recently, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer desperate to bolster his defensive options in the summer. Fiorentina, however, are determined to receive at least £38 million for the services of their prized centre-back.

A product of the Partizan youth academy, Milenkovic has been a part of the Serie A side since 2017. He has notched up over 125 competitive appearances for the Violas, emerging as a defensive lynchpin for the team.

The 23-year-old defender’s performances has taken a slight dip in the ongoing campaign as Fiorentina continue to struggle in Serie A. But that hasn’t deterred the potential suitors including AC Milan, who have identified Milenkovic as their desired alternative for Fikayo Tomori, who is on loan from Chelsea.

The Blues are already bracing themselves for a defensive overhaul in the summer, as Thomas Tuchel looks to find a long-term replacement for Thiago Silva. While Tomori is likely to be offloaded, someone like Milenkovic could be an ideal partner for Andreas Christensen, as the Serb can offer the grit to the Dane’s grace – ultimately ushering a nice variety in the Chelsea backline.

However, Chelsea are set to face stiff competition from Manchester United, who are desperate to add more competition in their defensive unit for the upcoming campaign.

The current crop of centre-backs, including Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof, have both struggled to offer the consistency that has ultimately deterred the Red Devils back in their pursuit of a title challenge. In addition, Manchester United have been tipped to offload Eric Bailly, who is unsettled at Old Trafford due to the lack of game-time.

Either way, it appears both Manchester United and Chelsea are set for a busy transfer window, especially to bolster their respective defensive units and it won’t be surprising to see them tussling against each other for the pursuit of top players across Europe this summer, and it remains to be seen if they are prepared to pay £38 million to land Milenkovic.

Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech could be set for some summer exits from Chelsea at the end of the season, according to the latest reports.

Werner and Ziyech were two big signings for the club last season when Frank Lampard was handed over £200 million to spend on new players, but despite all the hype and excitement around their arrivals, they have now shone like many had hoped.

Werner is in a race against time to show his worth to manager Thomas Tuchel, who is set to finalise his summer transfer plans in the coming days, according to the Evening Standard.

Tuchel is reportedly keen on both Sergio Aguero and Erling Haaland, which leaves the misfiring Werner with an uncertain future.

The £45million signing from RB Leipzig has managed just two goals in his last 29 appearances, and while we are not actively looking to sell him, Werner could be allowed to leave if funds are required for Tuchel’s targets.

And Spanish publication AS have claimed that Ziyech could also be a player that is allowed to leave the club at the end of the season.

The club are eager to generate funds for further additions through summer sales, with Tammy Abraham and Tiemoue Bakayoko among the others that could be offloaded.

Look, both players are getting big money to do a good job for the club , and they are simply not doing that, so if Tuchel believes that he can take the club forward without these two in the squad next season, they he is rightfully considering letting the pair go.
