Player ratings: Chelsea 3 vs 0 West Ham as Abraham score twice
Chelsea returned to winning ways as the Blues got the massive three points following a 3-0 win against the Hammers at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
Below are the player ratings
Mendy: Didn’t really have to make any save as West Ham struggled to get a tangible effort on target. Handled the ball well whenever he needed to. 7/10
Azpilicueta: It was a captain’s performance from the Spaniard. Worked very hard and was defensively solid. Made one good block to deny a goalbound Pablo Fornals effort early in the second period. 7
Zouma: Dealt with everything that came his way. Solid defending to help Chelsea keep a clean sheet. 7/10
Thiago Silva: Scored the opener for Chelsea, and beyond his goal, he was incredible at the back. 8/10
Chilwell: Had to be subbed off early in the first half due to injury.
Kante: His energy was relentless, but some of his passing today was far from impressive. Had one moment where his slip almost cost his side. 6/10
Jorginho: Started the game in good form as Chelsea dominated. However, the game ran by him until he was subbed off in the second period. 5/10
Mount: Quality cross for Thiago Silva’s goal. Worked hard all game long. 7/10
Pulisic: Started the game in brilliant form, but slowed down later. Picked up form late in the second half and a right spark as he used his trickery to cause problems for West Ham defence. 7/10
Werner: Should have at least gotten a brace in the game. Hit the bar and made some good runs which weren’t spotted by his teammates. 5/10
Tammy Abraham: Really took his chances well as he got a brace on the night. Without the goals, he worked really hard. 8/10
Subs: Emerson: Came on for the injured Chilwell and did decently. 6/10
Kovacic: Came on for final 24 minutes and he helped the side keep the ball better. 6/10
Kai Havertz: Very late sub for Pulisic.
