Player ratings: Chelsea 3 vs 1 Leeds United as Chelsea top the league
It wasn’t an easy win for the Blues as Chelsea came from a goal down to beat Leeds 3-1. Goals from Olivier Giroud, Kurt Zouma and Christian Pulisic were enough for Chelsea in what was a massive win.

Mendy: Would take part of the blame in Patrick Bamford’s goal as he hurried off his line only to be beaten by Bamford. Looked assured after that error and never really let it bother him. 6/10
Reece James: Another solid performance from the Englishman. Good cross for Giroud’s goal and he kept at it all game. Was very solid defensively. 7/10
Zouma: Will take a little blame for Bamford’s goal with his slow recovery rate. Improved afterwards and then went forward to score a brilliant header. 8/10
Thiago Silva: Another confident outing from the Brazilian, with his usual calmness in defence. 7/10
Chilwell: Got forward well and tried to always provide support down the left. Was lucky as he almost cost his side a penalty late in the second half. 6/10
Kante: Worked hard all through the game against a very energetic Leeds side. His impact was felt in the middle of the park. 8/10
Mount: Was one of the best players on the pitch as he worked really hard and provided the corner for Zouma’s goal. 7/10
Kai Havertz: Good game from the German. Worked hard when needed and looked good on the ball at times. 6/10
Ziyech: Unfortunate to have gotten injured in the first half. 5/10
Werner: Missed a glorious chance in the first half with an open goal. Was threatening in the second half. His assist for the third goa was brilliant. 7/10
Giroud: Another start, and yet another good goal. Justified his start with a good goal and his holdup play was brilliant. 8/10
Subs: Pulisic: Still not yet at his best, but did well after coming on for the injured Ziyech. 7/10
Kovacic: Worked hard and was good on the ball after coming on for Havertz in the second half. 6/10
Tammy Abraham: Good game despite a short cameo appearance. 5/10
