Caballero: Very good performance from the Argentine. Surprisingly, he had to make many saves, and he was equal to the task. 8/10
Azpilicueta: Decent performance. Overhit some of his crosses. Made a good sliding block to deny a Callum Styles shot. Hasn’t shown that he can upset Reece James yet. 6/10
Tomori: Good game from the young English defender. Solid in defence, although the Blues defence were opened time and again. 7/10
Silva: Made one early mistake, but other that, it was a commanding performance in defence. 7/10
Emerson: Good display and was really good on the ball when he was moved to the left wing following the introduction of Ben Chilwell in the second half. 6/10
Kovacic: Was really good on the ball and helped start Chelsea’s attack from deep in midfield. 6/10
Barkley: Scored a good goal and missed an easy chance as well. Good performance and link up with attack. 7/10
Mount: Very good performance from the 21-year-old. Good pass to Kai Havertz for the first goal. Worked hard in midfield and was involved in everything good the team did. Unlucky not to get his own goal. 8/10
Kai Havertz: Looked like the superstar signing he is. Looked sharper and fitter as he scored his first senior career hat-trick. Worked hard at times and good sliding tackle in the buildup to Ross Barkley’s goal. 9/10
Hudson-Odoi: Worked hard and was good at times. But he didn’t have the kind of impact he’d have wanted. 6/10
Abraham: Scored just a goal, but he was superb. Good link-up play a lot of the times. His dummy for Kai Havertz goal was awesome, and set up the German for his second with a wonderful backheel. 8.5/10
Subs: Zouma: Came on for Thiago Silva shortly after the hour mark and slotted into the game. 5/10
Chilwell: Came on for Kai Havertz in the 66th minute. Good cross for Giroud’s headed goal. Had one good shirt that tested the keeper. 6/10
Giroud: Scored a good headed goal as he came on as a substitute. Did brilliantly to lay a good pass for Ross Barkley but he squandered it. Also set up Mason Mount who didn’t get his shot on target. 7/10
