Player sends ‘massive message’ to Lampard after hitting double goal figures on loan
Some Chelsea academy players coming through the ranks will be lucky enough to make it at the club, others will not.
But the best chance they get to prove themselves to the senior staff is when they go out on loan, and there is one striker currently staking a claim to Frank Lampard right now, that is 22-year old Ike Ugbo.

He has been at Chelsea since 2007 but is currently on loan in Belgium with Cercle Brugge.
As per Transfermarkt, the former England under-20 international has now hit double figures for this season, scoring 10 in 15 appearances.
The Belgian side have an option to buy Ugbo in the summer should they wish to, but the player would have to agree to the move. If Chelsea decided they wanted to give him a chance in the first team, he would likely chose that option.
The striker has always had a good eye for goal and he is really coming into his own this season.
