‘Please let me join’ – £85M star tells board to let him complete Chelsea move after agreeing terms

According to latest reports, Leicester star Wesley Fofana has pleaded with his club to let him join Chelsea after he reportedly agreed personal terms with the Blues

However, Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella, Gabriel and Kalidou Koulibaly are the only three big-named players that has arrived this summer – although there has also been a couple of signings for the future too

Thomas Tuchel knows that he needs to add a couple more defenders to the side over the next few weeks – with reports that the German wants to find a long-term replacement for the aging Thiago Silva

And there are still many rumours in the media that ChelseaFC are very interested in a deal for Fofana

Leicester have set an asking price of a fee in the region of £80m to £85m – as they do not want to lose the player this summer – but that has not stopped Chelsea from making their moves for the player

And now the centre-back has agreed personal terms ahead of a move, so it’s all ready to go if the Blues can splash to cash.

That’s according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who tweeted: “Fofana has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, so the contract would be ready in case the two clubs find an agreement.”

The Foxes have turned down two bids from the Blues so far in the summer transfer window.
