Pochettino finally confesses the club misses Chelsea man absent after Brentford defeat ‘We really need him now’

The Blues suffered another disappointing result as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat against Brentford despite dominating the game.

Chelsea failed to nail another nice performance and instead bottled it all as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Brentford at Stamford Bridge today.

The Manager despite not being under pressure has confessed the need to have his star man back in action as he blamed the losses on the player’s absence.

Prior the game today, Chelsea suffered to late injuries on Friday night that saw Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk missing the game today. However, Pochettino believes neither of these players was the main reason for his loss as he lamented after the game saying; “So far [we don’t have enough threat]. Bad luck.

Christopher Nkunku has proved he can score goals and is injured in the last pre-season game but I must confess, we really need him now. Nicolas Jackson is young and arrived this season and needs to adapt.”
