The former Barcelona coach Eusebio Sacristan, has claimed Adama Traore is ready for a top Premier League club, and Chelsea should make a move. Chelsea have been linked with so many players over the last few months that most of us have forgotten the players that have been linked, but one thing is for certain, Frank Lampard needs to spend some money to help improve his very talented young side.
However, His defence needs to be sorted out, he needs to add another world class creative midfielder, a winger is also needed in the squad and Lampard also needs to spend some money to add another forward to his attack, so he needs to improve the side a lot over the coming transfer windows. But one player that he should take a serious look at signing, is that of Spanish winger Traore. Nobody has ever doubted the 23-year-old’s talents, but for all the ability in his feet, all the power in his muscular frame, things didn’t always come together for the Wolves star.
However, he has managed to get things right over at Wolves and has almost become the finished article at the Champions league chasing side, with his power, skill, pace and delivery up there with some of the best in the Premier League.
And against the best defence in the Premier League during the midweek game, he once against caused havoc against Liverpool and their left-back Andy Robertson, with everything good coming through the talented Spaniard.
And former Barcelona coach Eusebio believes that he is ready for a big club, telling the GOAL website: “When they start so young and look like a brilliant player so soon, it looks like their development gets stopped but it doesn’t. “All players need to reach a point of maturity. He is in a great moment now, but he kept improving himself and his qualities to reach his best possible level.
“I think he is ready for the jump to a big Premier League club, but I am convinced as well that he needed to take this road, this process, to reach that level.”
Chelsea have some very talented wingers that have bright futures in the game, but they are not putting in the kind of performances that Traore is and his pace and quality on the ball has made him one of the most exciting wingers in Europe right now. Chelsea have been linked with so many player, but spending £50 million on this man would be a very smart bit of business.
