According to The Sun, Chelsea have been dealt a transfer blow with French champions Paris Saint-Germain leading the race for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The report claims Paris Saint-Germain chief Leonardo is in regular contact with the Lazio star’s agent, former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman.
According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio are demanding €80 million for the Serbian midfielder.
Inter Milan and Juventus are also interested in the Lazio midfielder but neither club appear to have the finances available to them to meet the asking price of the Lazio midfielder.
Milinkovic-Savic has made 36 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored six goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
