PSG sends Neymar transfer message to Chelsea as Todd Boehly set to make huge decision
Chelsea will have a very busy summer transfer window and according to a report from Four Four Two, Boehly wants to bring in Neymar during this period as his first big signing.
The Brazil international has already played under Tuchel’s spell at Paris Saint-Germain and once the consortium takes over, Chelsea will have around £200 million available for transfers this summer.
However, since PSG persuaded star forward, Kylian Mbappe to sign a new contract and snub Real Madrid, Brazilian star Neymar, has been linked with a move away from PSG.
Chelsea have been touted as a possible destination for the Brazilian magician, but the 30-year-old recently admitted he wants to remain in Paris.
Neymar said recently: “I have heard no such things thus far but on my side the truth is I want to stay.”
Meanwhile, report has claimed that PSG are looking for ways to ship out Neymar, despite his insistence on staying at the club.
According to ESPN’s Julien Laurens, a reliable source for French football news, Paris Saint-Germain have made Neymar available for transfer this summer.
However, for Chelsea or any interested party, Neymar’s wages of €35m a year may be a stumbling block.
Well, this is a huge decision for Chelsea new owner Todd Boehly to bring Neymar to Stamford Bridge. Let’s see how it goes.
