French champions Paris Saint-Germain want former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to replace Mauricio Pochettino as manager. This is According to TalkSPORT.

Pochettino is expected to be sacked in the coming days and PSG has reportedly identified Mourinho as the ideal replacement.

Mourinho recently guided Roma to Europa Conference League glory – the club’s first major European trophy – and a respectable sixth-place finish in Serie A.

Despite recently claiming he will continue as Roma boss next season, PSG believe they have the pulling power to make Mourinho have a change of heart.

If Mourinho becomes PSG boss, it will be the second time the Portuguese manager is replacing Pochettino in recent years after the same switch took place at Tottenham in 2019.

PSG are keen on winning the Champions League and believe they can achieve that by appointing Mourinho as manager.

Meanwhile, the legendary Portuguese boss recently admitted that he’s a Chelsea man.

Mourinho told BT Sport: “Of course, my English connection is Chelsea – that’s the way I’m seeing it, as a Chelsea man, two periods at Chelsea, six years.”
