‘Recall him against West Ham and win the game’ – Martin Keown believes Tuchel will start Chelsea star against West Ham
Following Chelsea 4-2 defeat against Arsenal on Wednesday night, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel rotated his team a bit, but seems unlucky with his formation as the Blues face a heavy defeat against Arsenal.
However, The Blues boss Tuchel had opted to hand a rest to Kai Havertz, and started struggling Romelu Lukaku for the game.
Meanwhile, Arsenal legend Martin Keown admitted Lukaku didn’t perform well in that game, and Chelsea boss would recall Kai Havertz for the weekend game against West Ham.
Martin Keown told Stadium Astro: “They (Chelsea) did try and build around Lukaku tonight.”
“They played with Werner alongside and went with a slightly different midfield because he wants that striker around and it left Chelsea exposed the other way and made it more difficult for them.
“It can’t ever be about one player and I think Havertz will be their number one striker for their next match.”
