The referee for Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Sunday has been finally announced.
Paul Tierney has been confirmed as the referee for Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Sunday.
Tierney will be assisted by Scott Ledger and Mark Scholes, Graham Scott will be fourth official, while Lee Mason will be on VAR duty at Stockley Park.
Tierney has taken charge of two Chelsea matches this season, the 4-1 victory against Southampton at St Mary’s and Carabao Cup loss to Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, both games in October.
Tierney has shown 56 yellow cards and three red cards in the 20 Premier League matches he has taken charge of this season.
