The referee for Chelsea’s Premier League game against Manchester City on Thursday has been confirmed and the Blues have a poor record with him as referee.
The Premier League has confirmed Stuart Attwell will be in charge of Chelsea’s home fixture against Man City on Thursday.
Attwell has officiated three Chelsea games this season and the Blues failed to win any of those games.
Attwell officiated the 2-2 against Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge, the 1-1 at Brighton in January and the 2-2 draw against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
Lee Betts and Constantine Hatzidakis will be his assistants, and Kevin Friend the fourth official. VAR is Craig Pawson, assisted by Stephen Child. Graham Kane is mentioned as the replacement official.
