REPORT: Ajax told Chelsea how much they want for Andre Onana

Chelsea have been linked with a summer move for Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard keen on signing a goalkeeper at the end of the season.

Kepa Arrizabalaga’s Chelsea future is uncertain after the Spaniard was dropped for six consecutive games across all competitions earlier in the year following a string of unimpressive displays in goal for the Blues.

According to claims from Spanish publication Sport, Ajax are very much aware of Onana’s desire to test his credentials in a more competitive league and are demanding a transfer fee of €40 million for the 24 year old goalkeeper.

Barcelona are also interested in signing the 24 year old Cameroonian goalkeeper and are prepared to offer back-up goalkeeper Neto to Ajax as a makeweight in a deal for Onana.

Chelsea have also been linked with AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Bayern Munich legend Manuel Neuer.
