Report: Angry Inter coach reacted to possible Lukaku’s move Chelsea after latest club decision

As we all know Achraf Hakimi has since sealed a £60m move to PSG, and the club announced that there would be no other sale afterwards.

However, Inter Milan are now set to sell Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea after assuring new head coach Simone Inzaghi that there won’t be any sales.

According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, the 45-year-old manager is angry at the possibility of losing the Belgian striker, and he may never work with the club’s leading marksman from last season, despite assurances from the club, the player and also his agent.

The report claims that the new head coach is bitter and disappointed, but is nevertheless determined to make his Nerazzurri project work.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has recently revealed that the club is looking for a striker with Romelu Lukaku’s profile.

Explaining the kind of striker needed at Stamford Bridge, Tuchel recently said: “I think with the exit from Olivier Giroud [to Milan] we could use a player used to playing with their back to goals whose strength is to keep possession from long balls, so we can add this direct style of play to our portfolio and this is the characteristic of player that is not Tammy, Tino or Kai so this is a profile we don’t have in the squad and could be useful but not for any cost.

“We are relaxed and very well aware of our situation at the same time.”
