Manchester United are reportedly only willing to offer £50 million for the 20 year old winger despite Borussia Dortmund demanding in excess of £100 million for the England international.
Chelsea have made a flying start to the transfer window, signing both Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, and Manchester United fear an impasse in negotiations could open the door for Chelsea to swoop.
It is yet to be seen whether Chelsea will be willing to spend that much to sign Sancho.
